Back to my hometown for one of my favourite weddings to date

It’s not very often I get to go home to Quebec and shoot a wedding in this absolutely beautiful province. Makaila and Jon’s wedding was a DREAM. First of all, has anyone ever heard of such beautiful weather in November? Yes it was cold, don’t get me wrong. But the landscape was incredible and the lighting perfect. The entire day the sun was just barely poking through the clouds, giving us a beautiful overcast sky to work with. But I wouldn’t be a true photographer if I didn’t talk about golden hour. We really weren’t sure if we were going to get a sunset in the end but as we were driving to the ceremony, the sun came out from behind the clouds and it was fire! We immediately pulled over on the side of the road and parked in a farmers field to capture our last portraits of the day.
